Changes to the online store – New Stock Items

On 31 August, 2010 by Andy @ ROTDOG

As the opening of the Physical ROTDOG store is now firmly in hand, I have a few announcements to make, concerning items we will be stocking.

We will be stocking the full range of Chessex Products, including all dice sets and accessories including gaming stones and battle mats.

We will be stocking Flames of War items as well as some awesome modeling tools and a new range of amazing superglue.

We will finally be stocking Privateer Press items for Horde and Warmachine as well as Army Painter and Wyrd Miniatures.

I will be adding select items to our online store as well, although not everything will be available through the webstore to start.

I have also decided to change the webstore stock list. Rather than trying to put everything we stock up on the site, I will only be putting up the most popular and obvious stock items.

This does not mean you will not be able to order some things, we will still be able to order the full line of products we currently stock, over 6,000 products, with this figure raising every day, but you will have to do so via email or telephone.

Another major change to the webstore is that we will no longer be supplying Games workshop products through the webstore, although we are still able to order them if you want them.

The reason for this is that I want ROTDOG to concentrate on Roleplaying games, Board Games and new or evolving Tabletop games like those from Privateer Press.

I feel GW’s line is stagnant, with very few new products being released, and what is released being revamps of old miniatures, and they have so many products that they just swamp my shop.

I will still be offering the painting and scenery service for GW products and I am still able to order the figures if you really want them, but as a general rule of thumb you will not see them for sale on either the Webstore or on the shelves of the physical shop.

Keep tuned for more updates about the Physical location and the websotre!
